Moist Is a Gross Word
I think we’re all in agreement there. But with colder, drier winter weather just around the corner (insert sound of me sobbing), it’s not too early to be proactive about adding a little extra moisture to our skin!
Thus, I recommend the following:
- After using your fave facial moisturizer at night - I like LUSH Imperialis because it smells great and absorbs quickly - pat a couple of drops of your favorite facial oil (I’m using straight up argan oil) on top to “seal” in the moisturizer. You’ll wake up with a baby soft face :)
- Use a lip balm like Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment before you go to bed at night and when you wake up in the morning. It will have done its thing by the time you put your lipstick on. This is especially helpful if you love matte lippies like I do!
- Coconut oil. In the shower, after you shower, in your hair, for your cuticles - just do it!
I miss United Colors of Benetton Tribu perfume SO MUCH! This was my signature scent for awhile in high school - a friend told me I smelled like “delicious church incense” which I took as a compliment.
